As a UX design intern, I worked on multiple projects on supporting the maintenance of the app portfolio that empowers all SAP employees during the internship.
My contributions focus on the following aspects:
- Responsible for the end-to-end redesign of an AI-powered message generation app, Out of Office
- Enhanced the user experience for an internal employee communication tool, FlexConenct, on both mobile and desktop; launched features including user profiles, locker booking, and user status.
- Provided continuous maintenance for SAP internal applications, developing wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity prototypes, and visual elements in alignment with the latest Fiori design system.
The Experience Engineering team under Intelligent Enterprise Solutions at SAP creates user-centered, efficient solutions that enhance enterprise productivity. By combining design and technology, the team delivers intuitive experiences on internal employee applications—spanning sales, productivity, and engagement apps—aligned with SAP’s vision for intelligent enterprises.aligned with SAP’s vision for intelligent enterprises.
Throughout this process, I collaborated with engineers and product managers in an local team based in the SAP San Ramon office, CA.

In our team, we only have 3 designers, yet we are constantly dealing with a continuous flow of open tickets from 3 scrum teams. Additionally, we are responsible for the design and maintenance of over 40 apps in the app portfolio. Balancing resources to meet the demands of each Scrum team has become a significant challenge in our work.
With the team's limited resources, I took on a key role in projects. As one of just three designers, I independently designed multiple major features for our products.
